Not so subtly hinted at a few months ago Blackpool Pleasure Beach have introduced the Walk The Woodie experience.
Only The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach has offered a walk to the top experience but now Nickolodeon Streak will be added to the list with this brand new wooden coaster walking experience.
An experience usually reserved for specialist engineers now members of the public can choose from a handful of select dates to walk around this wonderful coaster that has been thrilling guests since 1933.
There are a very small limited number of opportunities to do this experience so grab them before their gone.
With great photo opportunities, this is certainly an experience for the die-hard coaster nut.
On the day of the experience, you will meet at Pleasure Beach’s South Gate, the experience will last 90 minutes and you can bring up to 2 spectators free of charge.
Safety equipment will be provided and all guests are required to wear sturdy footwear such as walking boots.
It must be stressed that only a segment of the ride will be walked and not the complete ride layout.
The walk will be physically demanding including steep climbs, drops and heights and the surfaces can be uneven, dirty and slippery.
All guests must attend a safety briefing beforehand and must complete a practical training section before commencing the walk.
You must be able to walk unaided and hold onto the handrail of the ride at all times.
Weather can affect this experience which could result in postponement or cancellation.
The Walk the Woodie experience is priced at £65 per person with three dates already for sale.
