Six Flags Qiddiya City at the World Travel Market London

Six Flags Qiddiya City were on display at the World Travel Market exhibition this month and we headed down to the London Excel to check it out.

Saudi Arabia at World Travel Market

The World Travel Market consists of countries from all over the world who showcase what makes their country special and why you should visit. This walkthrough sensory overload exhibition can have you stepping into Italy one minute to smelling the beautiful alluring oud in the air as you walk through the various countries of the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia certainly had the biggest country showcase of the entire expo and the Six Flags Qiddiya City booth was a beautiful display of light and architecture with a full interactive display.

Plucked straight out of the film Minority Report was a screen that when you placed a marker on top a digital touch screen would emit from the object you’ve placed on the screen to give you more insight on the project.

Qiddiya Stand WTM

If you placed a plastic football marker on the screen you can find out all about the brand new stadium being built in Qiddiya City. If you put the F1 car on the screen you can find out all about the F1 track which will be the future home of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix but the most fun for me was the inflatable water park ring and the Falcon’s Flight replica train.

By using these icons you can find out all about the AquArabia water park and Six Flags Qiddiya City as part of this incredible project where fun is at the heart of every single thing they are creating.

From festivals to theatre, museums to theme parks (12 of them planned to be exact including a DragonBall Z theme park) Qiddiya City will be unlike anything we’ve seen before and it all starts with Six Flags Qiddiya City.

Qiddiya DragonBallZ Theme Park

A brand new trailer for the water park and the theme park was on display at the stand which will officially be released to the public in Q1 of 2025, a snippet of which we were given special permission to share with you HERE

Whilst the Qiddiya City project will be done in many different stages there is a grand plan to have a total of 275 rides and thrills across 12 theme parks with 27 entertainment attractions in total proposed.

20+ performance venues and 20+ museums are also planned for the city.

A whole city dedicated to play, this is one project to keep an eye on and it all begins with the opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City.
