TrioTech Dark Rides Developed for SEVEN Saudi Project

Triotech dark rides are coming to Saudi Arabia and not just at Six Flags Qiddiya City as SEVEN’s entertainment destinations are set to receive some exciting new Triotech experiences.

Transformers Dark Ride SEVEN

SEVEN will consist of a variety of entertainment destinations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Triotech will supply one ride to be installed in the Al Hamra district of Riyadh City which will open first with two additional attractions set to open at other destinations.

A total of 21 destinations will be greeted with over 150 innovative attractions across 14 cities.

It was announced that TrioTech is also developing a Transformers attraction for SEVEN as they look to spread this brand across various SEVEN destinations in the kingdom.

To complete the overall visitor experience, there will be branded retail, including specially developed merchandise, and themed food and beverage venues, leaving guests feeling as though they have stepped into the Transformers universe.

TrioTech SEVEN Discovery Centre Ride

Not only are TrioTech working on the new Transformers ride but they are also implementing brand new dark rides for a new line of Discovery Centre Parks. Out of the 21 entertainment destinations planned across Saudi Arabia, 8 of them will be discovery centres.

Created in conjunction with Warner Bros. Discovery these smaller destinations will revolve around the theme of science and will include their own explorative dark ride which is a brand new ride system for Triotech.

The ride will feature a single track which will seat guests back to back giving everyone a front-row seat. 12 people can fit on each row with a total capacity of 24 people per ride cart.

The vehicle moves sideways giving both rows an entirely different view. The ride will feature motion, wind, smoke, heat, scent and ticklers and for the first time ever TrioTech will be designing the vehicle entirely themselves.

The ride will take up a very small footprint of 100m² and as of this moment, it is not known how many of the Discovery Centres will receive this ride.

TrioTech are purposely designing the ride so it can be easily changed making the ride experience customisable and making guests eager to return.
