Kryptonite Collider Coming to Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi

Kryptonite Collider Abu Dhabi

Today Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, has announced the addition of two new DC-themed rides at the award-winning Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Kryptonite Collider will be a brand new Zamperla Nebulaz ride that has been beautifully themed if the initial teaser trailer launched by the park today is anything to go by.

It’s easily the most themed Nebulaz I’ve seen anywhere in the world and I’d expect nothing less from a park as detailed and as beautifully themed as Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi.

Fueled by the power of kryptonite, the journey of ‘Kryptonite Collider’ begins in the queue, where thrill seekers become ‘test subjects’ for Lex Luthor’s Everyman Project, getting immersed in his vision through infomercial-style video announcements prior to boarding.

Once seated in the 32-guest centrifuge-style ride vehicle, participants are dynamically swept through a vortex of powerful motion and energy, with integrated onboard audio and lighting effects intensifying the electrifying experience. The attraction offers riders a taste of superhuman powers, brought to life on interactive digital screens after the ride’s conclusion.

This new addition to the park will see the new flat ride added as part of an ongoing expansion of the park which will include two brand new DC-themed rides with Kryptonite Collider being complimented by a brand new Superman flying coaster named Superman Up and Away.

Miral have announced that the ride will be a next-generation flying roller coaster which is already intriguing to me but with it being entirely indoors it makes it even more exciting and will mark the parks third roller coaster that is set for construction completion in 2018.

Thereafter the Harry Potter themed land will no doubt open around 2030 and will come complete with its own indoor roller coaster if rumours are led to believe but nothing else has been confirmed about the coaster or the Harry Potter themed land in this delayed announcement from Miral.

All of the information released today was meant to come out earlier in the year at IAAPA in the Middle East but due to the ongoing conflict over there the event was postponed.

Thrillseekers won’t have long to wait to ride Kryptonite Collider though as its set to open July 26th, 2026.

Jonathan Brown, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral, said:
