Wake the Tiger Absurd City is coming to Westfield London this October and we were kindly shown around this Amazement Park months before its grand opening and it’s looking very special indeed!
This brand new 80,000 sq.ft attraction lies unsuspecting within a London shopping mall, the biggest shopping mall in the UK to be precise and the creators of Boomtown Fair and the very popular Wake the Tiger Amazement Park® in Bristol have taken a new attraction (in the same universe as the Bristol one) and brought it to the capital.

The scale of the rooms within this particular attraction eclipse that of the Bristol venue with London’s version being around four times the size of their original attraction.
It’s hard to explain what Wake the Tiger is but it’s almost like a psychedelic world where you can explore and interact with the environment around you. Traverse hidden passageways and just get lost in this beautifully themed and wacky space that conveys various messages and commentary on our own society as you walk through.
Over 100 artists came together to create this space and whilst we were there everyone was hard at work crafting their own spaces and making them special.
Guests (known as Daytrippers) will travel through a portal and explore the city’s secrets through a total of four districts.
The detail, immersion and craziness you’re about to witness makes Wake the Tiger Absurd City already the most unique and crazy attraction in London and I can see it going down a storm.
Not only did we get an early tour of the venue but we had a quick chat with Creative Director Luke Mitchell who discussed the project as a whole and how all of this came to be.
