A Flamingo Land incident was reported today as a worker injured his leg today during a maintenance check.
An air ambulance was called to the scene after 13:20 BST when the incident occured.
The incident took place on the Dino Coaster during a maintenance routine and a mans leg was rumoured to be crushed.
The injuries are not reported to be life threatening and the theme park remained open throughout despite a police corden.
Health and Safety are making initial enquiries to see how this incident occured.
A spokeswoman for Yorkshire Air Ambulance said: “We were called to the incident at Flamingo Land and airlifted the casualty to hospital.”
Yorkshire Ambulance Service also issued a statement:
“Yorkshire Ambulance Service received an emergency call just after 1.20pm this afternoon to an incident involving a man who had been injured at Flamingo Land Resort in North Yorkshire.
“Two ambulances and an air ambulance were dispatched to the scene and the patient was flown to hospital for further care.”

Flamingo Land was first established as a zoo in 1959 and has since expanded over 375 acres including a zoo and holiday village.
