Own a piece of Alton Towers Resort history. Duel was a much loved ride operating at Alton Towers Resort for almost 20 years, entertaining millions of guests, duelling the creatures within The Haunted House.
The ‘Specialist Items’ section of the Alton Towers website has listed 14 blasters for sale priced at £250 each.
Being a prop collector and knowing nostalgic value and the significance of this ride £250 is an absolute steal and I can guarantee you that by the time this article is written the blasters will be sold out.
Just like the Rita rope where people questioned its value with many laughing emojis when announced they similarly sold out quick and some went for more money than they were sold for when resisted on eBay.
I should know. I made a profit on mine for sure!
Merlin Annual Pass discount can be used on the blasters meaning that you can get 20% off (£200) but in a frenzied rush my code wasn’t working and I ended up purchasing one at full price.
Doh! Hopefully, Alton Towers can help me out with that one as it was their website playing up (once again) that caused that particular issue.
All blasters have been mounted to a display along with a certificate of authenticity and made available to purchase for our most dedicated enthusiasts. A must have for a serious collector!
Please note – The blaster is no longer a functioning item. The wiring has been removed to enable it to be mounted. We have selected the best blasters from the ride and they have been cleaned, however they have all seen a number of years in operation and may have marks or imperfections and are sold as a used item.
