The Alton Towers gardens opened today for the first time post lockdown in 2021 and a brand new event is heading to the resort this May. Alton Towers Mardi Gras!
This May join us in getting the summer vibes going with the brand-new Alton Towers Mardi Gras!
This Carnival inspired takeover will dazzle you with an explosion of colours, sounds, high energy entertainment and so much more!
Not forgetting that you will have the chance to ride our thrilliant world-class rollercoasters and fantaboulous family faves as the sun goes down (starts going down – into the sunset) as well as try some utterly delicious food from around the world.
Don’t miss out!
But not only that the gardens themselves have a brand new Garden Centre located inside the conservatory where you can buy a whole variety of plants and garden-themed objects.

It’s a great use of the empty space and certainly will draw some of the older demographic to take a trip down into the gardens and pick up a plant or two.
In addition to the above, the Alton Towers Fastracks are back!
That’s right, the full bundles are back for 2021 in addition to the one-shots from last season.
I wasn’t a big fan of the one-shots the cost absolutely flew up when it was so much easier to get a bundle pass.
The prices for the 2021 Alton Towers Fastracks are as follows:
One-Shot Solo Prices – £8
Nemesis, Galactica, Rita, TH13TEEN, Oblivion, Spinball, Runaway Mine Train

So who’s looking forward to Alton Towers Mardi Gras?
