Based on a Tripadvisor Traveler’s Choice Award Alton Towers has been ranked the 8th best in the world.
In a recent press release, Alton Towers has been crowned the Top UK theme park by visitors and has been ranked 8th Worldwide ahead of the likes of Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios Japan.
This is a great achievement for the park but it also does make me question just how these particular parks are ranked. Is it the number of reviews in a certain period or another method as ranking them higher than those two parks?
I wholeheartedly agree with the UK’s best theme park award, there isn’t much in the way of competition in that department for the UK which is why the Universal Studios UK project is exciting so many people!
Best of the Best winners are among the top 1% of listings around the world on Tripadvisor. It is the second consecutive year Alton Towers Resort has made the list.
Adding to this accolade, accommodation at the Resort has also received outstanding recognition following reviews from guests. Alton Towers Resort’s CBeebies Land Hotel and Enchanted Village Woodland Lodges have been honoured with Traveller Choice Awards, placing them in the top 10% of Hotels and Accommodations globally.
