Alton Towers Ride Resins Online Theme Park Store Review

Alton Towers Resins

We get our hands on some Alton Towers ride resins with our first online store order.

Isolation has certainly increased my online shopping spending limits and two weeks ago I placed my first Alton Towers store order.

With each passing day my love of Royal Mail second class was deteriorating as day after day passed without receiving the package.

A whole 16 days later and my parcel arrived and I got my hands on three of the best theme park resins i’ve ever seen!

My last resin purchase was from Blackpool Pleasure Beach where I picked up the ICON, Big One and Revolution resins. Three bright and colourful resins that were incredibly affordable, priced at £4.95 each.

When browsing the Alton Towers website I noticed that their resins were priced at £8.50 and some at £9.

I instantly placed an order so I could see why the park were charging almost twice as much for these items.

When they arrived It was easy to see why.

Thirteen Ride Resin

First up is the Thirteen ride resin. This 3D style model took me by surprise. I was not expecting this level of detail on a resin.

This horror themed resin features great ride train detail and is shaped almost like a headstone. The model also has a shiny appearance as though it has been coated in a protective lacquer or similar.

Featuring the train as well as the iconic entrance gate to the queue line this is certainly one of the more detailed resin that Alton Towers currently sells.

Nemesis Ride Resin

Nemesis Resin Alton Towers

Easily comparable to the Revolution resin both featuring each coasters iconic loop the Nemesis one stands head and shoulders above it’s Blackpool rival though however.

With a striking Nemesis logo at the bottom of the loop with the same shiny lacquer effect and heavy detail on the piece it’s easily my favourite of the two.

Wicker Man Ride Resin

Big Bob in all of his Wicker Man glory with this resin piece.

A smaller resin than the previous two.

I was expecting it to be slightly larger being the most expensive resin on the site (alongside Galactica) priced at £9.

The extra 0.50 pence certainly shows in the detail though. The picture above doesn’t do it justice whatsoever.

The level of detail is comparable to a high-end collectors piece rather than something you’d see at a theme park priced under £10.

Alton Towers Ride Resins Overall

Detailed, affordable and certainly the best piece of affordable Alton Towers merchandise on offer.

You’d be crazy not to pick up the entire range and display them proudly amongst your theme park collection.

If you want to see the full-range head on over to https://shop.altontowers.com/search?q=resins

I’d certainly avoid the Rita resin thou.

They really need to remove that off the store it’s ruining the set!

The online store is packed full of goodies to keep you entertained during this isolation period.

Just waiting for the postman to deliver treats is sadly becoming the highlight of my weeks lately.

The ordering process was easy but I wish they offered other shipping services than just second class. I’m far too impatient to wait two weeks for some theme park goodies, it felt like an eternity!
