Just in time for spooky season a small range of Blackpool Pleasure Beach Ghost Train merchandise has been made available including a T-Shirt, Hoodie and Pin-Badge.
Opened in 1930 the Ghost Train at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is known as the first real ‘Ghost Train’ in the world and the first ride of its kind to be named ‘Ghost Train’.
The term ‘Ghost Train’ was coined after designer Joseph Emberton based the name on a popular play at the time named ‘The Ghost Train’.
In 2020 the Ghost Train had lots of small additions made to it as with every season that passes something is added or replaced to keep the attraction spooky and fresh.
It’s the first time that I’ve seen Ghost Train merchandise available on the Blackpool Pleasure Beach store and it’s the perfect time to be selling it this Halloween season.
Unfortunately for Blackpool Pleasure Beach their debut scare event last year ‘Journey To Hell’ will not be returning due to the current pandemic.

This is a real shame as a large portion of the event was based outside and the mazes were never confined at any given stage allowing for social distancing.
Whilst events such as Scare Kingdom go ahead with indoor socially distanced mazes I do wonder if it’s more of a cost / profit concern for certain events rather than any social distancing implementations needed.
Either way we have a wonderful range of Ghost Train merchandise to whet the appetite including a hoodie, T-Shirt and Pin Badge.
Usually pin badges aren’t my thing but with this one designed after the infamous ride trains I may just be swayed into getting one!
