Blackpool Pleasure Beach release an ICON Box Bundle which will make the perfect XMAS gift this year!
Quite a few months ago I was speaking to Pleasure Beach about exclusive boxes for individual rides that could be customised for people and bring that extra bit of class within the usual merchandise range that pleasure beach offer.
Roll the clock forward a few months and the introduction of ICON Box Bundles sees my initial concept improved upon for the masses.
These wonderful new boxes come with a personalised name plate on the top that can be removed and framed separately.
There are two variants which include the standard and luxury boxes.
The standard box (priced at £20) contains a Black ICON blossom mug, Mr Funshine biscuit and a Pleasure Beach fudge box.
I absolutely love the box design and the ICON range of merchandise is some of the most impressive and diverse merchandise of any ride / theme park in the country!
You can’t go wrong with a sunshine biscuit / Blackpool fudge but for an ICON box I was expecting more ICON specific items such as the ones in the premium box.
The premium box (priced at £25) contains a Black ICON blossom mug, black leather scented ICON candle, ICON rock jar.
The premium box is certainly more in-line with my original idea for the boxes.
After speaking to Blackpool Pleasure Beach it seems as though the boxes can be customised with other items within them but there is no option currently on the Pleasure Beach online store for you to do that at this current moment in time.
It would be my hope in the future to expand on the premium box to actually make it stand out from the original standard version.
An ICON designed box (black gloss, initials carved within etc) instead of the current crate style design.
In addition to that i’d absolutely love for the premium one to actually have that premium factor to it rather than just better merchandise.
An exclusive ride part or exclusive piece of merchandise specific to the box to really make it more premium, unique and rare.
