Our first bit of news on the site for Chessington World of Adventures Resort as they have submitted plans for a new mini log flume and a re-theme and reconfigaration of Toadie’s Crazy Cars.
Proposals submitting to Kingston Council shows the log flume location next to the Gruffalo Arena. The flume is said to be similar to Crocodile Creek used at Weymouth Sealife Centre. The POV for that log flume ride can be found below. The flume will be targeting a younger audience. This makes sense with Tiger Rock being the more adult water log flume ride of the park. The ride will have 6 logs and can carry up to 3 riders.

Safari theming has also been included in the proposals so expect animal models and lots of shrubbery.
No dates have been confirmed within the proposals but we’d hazard a guess as saying 2020 is a realistic expected time period. These plans come after the already submitted plans by Chessington in September for a new drop tower ride to replace Rameses Revenge. The opening date for that particular ride is set for 2021.
