The first concept images for the brand-new safari-style Chester Zoo luxury lodges have been revealed and they are rather stunning indeed but they come at a cost, a STEEP cost!
Similar to the luxury lodges at West Midlands Safari Park the lodges are in high demand but it’s not the only thing that’s high as prices are around £920 for a family of four staying for one night, and that’s the cheapest room!
This room consists of two super king beds, one single sofa bed and a lake view.
Crafted using natural and sustainable materials the lodges have been inspired by landscapes in Africa where the zoo is helping endangered species to thrive in the wild.
The lake-side lodge can sleep up to five people with 46 square metres of space and comes with breakfast and a dinner allowance.
Bookings officially go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 29th January (today) with a range of packages available and I’m absolutely certain that they will have no trouble selling out as guests have a chance to interact with conservation experts and special out-of-hours access to the zoo.
There are a variety of lodges available for up to 9 people with some facing the side of a lake whilst others will offer a private view of the giraffe habitat.
Chester Zoo are hoping the bookings from the lodges will help to fund Chester Zoo’s global conservation projects and the lodges will officially open in August 2025.
