In a never seen before display at Alton Towers Resort a drone show has been scheduled as part of the Bonefire Night fireworks spectacular event.
With groundbreaking special effects the Alton Towers Fireworks Spectacular is always the highlight of our November calender and this year along with a backstory display to a curated soundtrack there will be a drone show similar to that of the Disneyland Paris drone show.
Over 100 drones will feature as part of the event and the show will take place at Alton Towers on Friday November 4th, Saturday November 5th and Sunday November 6th.
The show will use hundreds of lasers, fire effects, video and a world-class fireworks display.
The park will be open from 10am every day and attractions will stay open until 9pm.
The weekend will also be the last chance to ride Nemesis before it closes on November 6.
Year after year Alton Towers puts on one of the best fireworks shows that I’ve ever witnessed in the UK. It’s always a competition that the park has with itself year after year to deliver a bigger and better event.
With the addition of drones in this year’s show I’m very excited to see just what they could achieve with that.
Here’s hoping various ride logos are replicated in the sky. That would be incredible!
