Waterworld Stoke has implemented four brand new rides at the park this 2019 season. Already the best indoor water park in the country the venue has stepped it up once more with these brand new additions. A whole new extension structure houses the new rides with more to come in 2020.

Next year brings the addition of a crazy golf course, gym and more to Waterworld Stoke. It really is turning into quite the attraction!

The four new rides in question are of great interest indeed. Let’s take a look at them:
Thunderbolt
Thunderbolt is the UK’s tallest and fastest water slide. A trap door that gives way under your feet and has you flying down the tube at breakneck speeds. You haven’t got a moment to think and before you know it you’re at the bottom.
Cyclone
Even thou Thunderbolt is an incredible thrill ride I feel Cyclone is certainly the strongest. It’s like an adventure ride. You fly down on a raft and enter a giant washing machine style structure. You plummet (forwards or backwards) into a giant spinning dome before being ejected into the pool of water below. It’s a good lengthy ride and looks absolutely brilliant in the day. A night time ride of Cyclone is scary indeed you have no idea where you’re going! It’s great.
Stormchaser
Seems to be a lot of Tornado Alley and Stormchaser themed content around lately especially with Paulton’s Park adding their very own Stormchaser to their roster in 2020. But this one is slightly more tame than a spinning coaster. Using natural light to project a nice colour scheme this raft ride is a very relaxing journey. The weakest of the four for me but still a cool slide nonetheless.
Hurricane
Quite a steep drop on this one that takes you by surprise. A fast, thrilling but albeit short race to the bottom. Really good fun, love the first drop and the rest is just a blur!
