Fantasy Island Introduces New Restaurant Lost Island Grill

Lost Island Grill

Located directly below The Guardian queue line a brand new restaurant has been added to the already impressive indoor line-up located at Fantasy Island as Lost Island Grill is set to serve up a whole load of meat treats (and pub classics) in this vibrant new dining experience at the theme park.

As you can see within the photos in this article kindly provided to us by the park the restaurant has a very Jurassic Park type of vibe to it with vibrant colours, foliage and even some winks and nods to the films with a Jurassic Park jeep door style wall decor.

Food is varied from a build-a-burger all the way up to classic mains like sausage and mash and more. Jacket potatoes are also on the menu along with a whole variety of drinks from soft drinks to cocktails as you can see below.

Sauces for the burgers / wings are yet to be decided hence the XXXX you can see on the menu, don’t worry it’s not some extra spicy sauce designed to blow your face off!

Final Thoughts

Lost Island Grill Food

Fantasy Island smash it out of the park when it comes to food variety and good indoor theming with the Pyramid at Fantasy Island still being one of my favourite indoor spaces in the entire country.

I love how it has a little rainforest cafe vibe to it and I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a soundtrack playing in the background here or some other little winks and nods such as a little animatronic or other theming accents as they always go out of their way to immerse guests in the experience even if it’s a dining one.

Lost Island Restaurant Skegness

For me, if Fantasy Island became a completely indoor park and expanded the pyramid I’d be totally onboard with that, I feel as though the outside area lets it down a little bit in terms of ride offering and quality as there is no theming hardly whatsoever outside and then inside it’s rather impressive from start to finish.

I’d love for an expansion inside that area one day with a variety of rides, maybe an indoor ghost train or horror ride or similar as this Halloween is a big draw for the park so an all-year-round attraction would be great to have.

One day I’d love to sit down with their creative team and just brainstorm their next big indoor dark ride or similar, I’d be in my element as this is the UK’s best indoor space by a country mile and it deserves to keep growing and improving each and every year.
