Fantasy Island The Guardian ride is set for a March opening after a long pandemic delay.
The wait is finally over as this immersive thrill ride will be opening to guests very soon!
March 19th is the opening day for the brand new ride as The Guardian awaits you.
This immersive ride has been something of a secret for a long time now and even after the trailer release, there’s still a little mystery behind what it could actually be.
Incredible theming consists of dragons, castles and a kingdom but all of the signs up to this point suggest the ride is a VR simulator ride that consists of full 360-degree movement.
If the ride is VR then why has so much effort gone into the theming of the ride. The teaser shows just how incredible it looks!
Is the theming to immerse you into the experience before you take your seat and are whisked off to lands unknown?
We shall see!
I’m still set on the fact that it’s a VR ride attached to a Robo arm or similar as you meet the guardian or enter into battle with this guardian creature or similar.

Stay tuned until March 19th as this long-awaited attraction opens to the public.
The Guardian will be joined by the Wild Water Rapids which is new to Fantasy Island in 2022.
Another ride that is set to open at the park is Harrington Flint’s Island Adventure’s. This immersive and interactive dark ride will have guests armed with guns shooting at numerous targets around the ride.
The ride will consist of custom made and branded content but no opening date has been revealed.
