Stardust Racers

Stardust Racers was initially called Starfall Racers before a nonprofit threatened legal action against Universal and Universal changed the name to Stardust Racers.

The ride vehicles are covered in lights and the track will consist of the trains lighting up the ride at night as the vehicles will appear to look like shooting stars at night in a very unique investment for the park that’s never been done before.

Stardust Racers Theming

The Ride Guys series debuted the first look at the coaster in an episode that was posted on YouTube as Assistant Director and Executive Producer for the ride, JC, also appears in the video to discuss the story behind the ride and the area.

The citizens of Celestial Park known as Celestians have figured a way to harness the energy of a comet and travel of them to ride through the night sky, this pastime of the Celestians has now been passed to guests visiting Epic Universe who step foot inside the Celestial Park area.

Stardust Racers Entrance

Stardust Racers has taken inspiration from a duelling wooden coaster with a very unique element called the ‘Celestial Spin’ where two trains will enter the spin with one vehicle looking up as the other coaster is looking down creating a really cool interaction between trains and guests aboard.

Stardust Racers will run with up to four trains on each track and each train will be made up of five cars where riders sit in two rows of two, for a total of twenty passengers.
