Gardaland Resort is in the process of building a new ride set to open in the summer as this major new attraction got its first teaser trailer release today.
Opening in Summer 2024 this brand new attraction will be themed around an ancient legend of Native Americans as listed on construction fencing that adorns the area that this ride will occupy.
Sabrina de Carvalho, CEO spoke about the Gardaland Resort new ride:
“We are looking forward to welcoming our guests for the new season, certain that the future attraction will surprise them and allow them to immerse themselves in a new magical setting.”
“This will be a major attraction, with a very strong theme inspired by the legends of the Native Americans, who have always been the protagonists of true stories as well as cinematographic and literary works which illustrate qualities such as courage and physical prowess, as well as altruism and a strong connection with nature and famous rituals performed for a wide variety of purposes, from the Sun Dance to that of purification” says Sabrina de Carvalho, CEO of Gardaland Resort.
The story of the Native Americans is known by everyone and, for this reason, the new attraction will involve – in a different way – guest of different generations.
Located on the old Sequoia Magic Loop rollercoaster site this small space was taken up by the compacted coaster but with the coaster now removed there are only really two things that make sense in this space.
A small indoor dark ride of some kind or a drop tower (in the same vein as Croc Drop at Chessington World of Adventures.
To further add to the speculation of the ride the park released a trailer showing a violet-coloured stone with 22 mysterious symbols along with a message to be deciphered.
The ride will be aimed at thrill-seekers and adventure lovers and as mentioned previously is located in a small space measuring 494 square metres.
It was also mentioned that the ride would be rich in special effects but as far as that goes we don’t know much else about what the ride is or what its overall theme or story is going to be.
