On March 15, 2025, Six Flags Over Georgia (USA) opened “Georgia Gold Rusher”, the world’s first Intamin Ultra Surf and today Intamin shared some extra information about the ride along with a few photos courtesy of Park Paradise.
Georgia Gold Rusher delivers an unparalleled ride experience with a large amount of weightlessness and airtime moments.
Firstly, this is achieved through the airtime hill and two beyond vertical, ejector intense gravity stall ramps with 44-metres height. Secondly, the free-spinning, spin-incited vehicles offer a unique sensation of floating and spinning through the air, making each ride different from the last resulting in a highly re-rideable experience.

With its shuttle-style coaster design on a compact footprint, riders can enjoy up to 600 meters of experienced track on just 180 meters of physical track.
- Ride Length: 180 m
- Max Height: 44 m
- Top Speed: 95 km /h
- People per vehicle: 20
The vehicles have the standard Intamin over-the-shoulder lap bar giving maximum freedom and comfort and the ride uses a state-of-the-art water-cooled LSM launch system, the most powerful available on the market.
The smooth ride experience is further enhanced by a simpler and wider track design, which requires less supporting structure.
Finally, the ride’s appealing look is enhanced by a water effect that interacts with the ride, creating an impressive splashdown moment for both riders and spectators alike.
Thanks to Intamin for sharing this information with us today!
