Today, Thorpe Park Resort launched its Hyperia TV advert ahead of the ride’s grand opening on Friday 24th May.

The advert discusses the choice that we have to make when we’re faced with a fear – fight or flight, asking the question

What if we chose both?

The tallest, fastest and most ‘weightless’ rollercoaster in the UK is then revealed with the latter certainly a word that will have the general public scratching their heads as to what that is.

Within the advert the new entrance portal is revealed as Thorpe Park shows off their stylised approach as opposed to a themed ride after budget cuts sadly affected the overall theming/appearance of the brand new labelled ‘Fearless Valley’ area.

Thorpe has delivered a very classy advert that almost gracefully compliments the wonderful soundtrack that will be played throughout the on-ride experience courtesy of OHM speakers (same used for Wicker Man and Nemesis Reborn) dotted around the layout of the track.

Mack Rides have this week handed the ride to an inspection body but are staying on site until full sign-off is completed.

One of the two trains has also been confirmed to have completed a full circuit without test dummies which is very positive.
