Intamin Coaster to Replace Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit

Universal

Today the rumour mill has been in full flow as the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit rollercoaster has been on the chopping block for quite some time at Universal Orlando but today a new manufacturer has been linked to replace Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.

Intamin has been rumoured as the manufacturer to replace the Rip Ride Rockit and after the initial rumour was posted by Alicia Stella there seems to be some weight behind it via our own digging and speaking a few of our own sources.

The date of permanent closure of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is currently unknown but 2025 is looking to be the rumoured year of replacement.

Alicia states that the coaster could be similar to the drifting coaster based on Fast & Furious which is currently being built at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Alicia is a credible source who was the first person to unveil the plans for the Universal UK theme park which prompted Universal themselves to reveal their plans after her research went viral and was covered via various news websites.

Speaking to our own sources they have confirmed the same manufacturer that Alicia stated is correct as the park was looking for replacements for the ride but the model of the coaster itself is currently unknown.

The rollercoaster will be sadly missed but we’re sure with Intamin at the helm whatever is set to replace it will be a tremendous rollercoaster indeed!

Will Intamin replace Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit? If so which model would you like to see?
