Based outside of the beautiful city of Bristol lies Magic by Post, for over 40 years they have been providing magic tricks and joke shop gags to pranksters and magicians all over the world.
The company develop their own exclusive magic tricks that you can shop on their website.
But today we’re focusing on joke shop goodies.
Since the 1970’s the company has sent over one million catalogues. Joke shop catalogues that people would fill in and send back to the company before being sent goodies in the post.
These retro catalogues are no longer in print and are quite a rare find indeed nowadays. But Magic by Post provide a scanned copy of certain pages with every nostalgic collection order.
This nostalgic collection contains a scanned copy of the original catalogue / pages and a few practical jokes to go alone with it all for under £5.

What Was Inside?
A wonderful selection of retro 80’s jokes.
The vanishing ink certainly got me that’s for sure. It took over an hour for it to fully disappear and even then needed some water before it had vanished for good.
