Journey To Hell at Blackpool Pleasure Beach Cancelled for 2020

Journey To Hell at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

The Halloween event Journey to Hell at Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been postponed until 2021 it has been announced.

The first Halloween event of its kind took guests into an abandoned theme park where you were immersed in a story, chased around by dune buggies, walked through a clown filled chinese maze and went underneath the pleasure beach and through the eerie tunnels in a very unique event.

With a rather shaky opening night Journey to Hell got better as the days rolled on.

Thankfull we experienced it a few days after opening night and we absolutely loved it although there was so much more we felt they could add to the experience.

Walking around an empty, dark Pleasure Beach was incredibly creepy and to then be blindfolded and put on ICON for a ride around was superb.

Finishing the night in the incredible Pasaje Del Terror we thought not only was it great value for money but a solid first attempt at a scare experience from the park.

With such a large space to entertain guests we certainly felt the mazes could be even scarier and more immersive in the future and was very much looking forward to what changes the park would implement for 2020.

Sadly it wasn’t meant to be as the park are now advertising Journey to Hell as returning in 2021.

A real shame to see but completely understandable given the current circumstances.

We look forward to Journey to Hell at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 2021 and hopefully a refurbished Valhalla to go along with it!

The website text reads as follows:

Journey To Hell Freak Nights are a terrifying experience led event through themed areas of Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
