The Journey To Hell mazes for the 2021 Blackpool Pleasure Beach scare event have been revealed and you could audition as a cast member!
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is recruiting for a number of scary new positions which will only be offered to the ghastliest of candidates.
The amusement park is looking for scarily good cast members to join its horrific Halloween event, Journey To Hell.
Ideal candidates for these positions will love horror and scares, and love to give guests the fright of their life.
A strong stomach is essential and tolerance for blood and gore is essential.
Journey to Hell is a terrifying experience led event through themed areas of Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The event raises the bar for the fear factor at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and promises to be scarier than ever in 2021.
Journey to Hell is a scare zone live actor and horror-based experience taking place over selected nights from 8th to 31st October after the park has closed.
It will include ICON, the Ghost Train and the River Caves.
It’s great to see that the Ghost Train and the River Caves have been added to the line-up as ICON was the only ride operating during the last event.
Granted it was a special blindfolded ride but missing the Ghost Train out was a rookie mistake.
If the River Caves were horror-themed or contained live actors (Ghost Train would benefit from this especially) then we could be in for a real treat!

The Legend Of The Cursed River Caves
Once you enter these cursed caves, your journey has only one terrifying destination.
This evil sorceress has demons everywhere to curse your souls.
Incorporating River Caves for the first time at Journey to Hell I’m intrigued by how they will retheme the ride to fit in with a horror theme.
The ride is quite long in length and I’d imagine this would be a huge job to undertake without the ride being out of action for some time.
With the ride still operating I can only think that a quick audio change/inclusion of actors or similar around the ride could be achieved in such a short turnaround.
Hell Tunnels
Beneath the park lurks a beastly rabble of survivors that feed on dread and despair. Beware don’t get left behind, it won’t be just your fear they will feast on!
Valley Of Carnevil Freaks

Day Of The Dead Ghost Train
Celebrate all that is living….and all that is DEAD.
Tickets please for your journey on the Ghost Train and reunite with the dead.
Similar to River Caves the ride would need to be out of action for a bit to completely re-theme it so I imagine live-actors will be a feature of the ride with a slight bit of Day of the Dead theming here and there.
Scare Maze
Can you survive our Scare Maze or will you join the lost souls roaming around for eternity?
Blind Faith
Do you have the faith where speed, stealth and darkness dwells.
Dark warriors sense that your minds are weak.
Dare you test them and prove your Blind Faith.
The journey starts at the HUB where brave potential victims will be taken to the scare zones.
