Today a LEGO Mythica set has been released in Legoland Windsor and Lego Discovery centres where you can build parts of the brand new Mythica attraction.

Based on a world of mythical creatures the new land at LEGOLAND Windsor includes a flying theatre, two drop towers, a play area, building zones and a brand new for 2022 walkthrough forest experience.
The LEGO Mythica model contains the entryway to the land, the sky lion model and an assortment of other figures from around the area.
Mythica also comes with two minifigures, one holding a camera and the other a magnifying glass. There’s also a small Alicorn model to build. A creature that can be found at the enchanted waterfall in MYTHICA.

For me, this LEGO Mythica set looks far more worthwhile than actually boarding the Flight of the Sky Lion attraction. I thought the flying theatre was a major letdown with poor movement, no real immersion and it just felt a little cheap and tacky.
The queue line is quite poorly designed and I didn’t feel immersed in any of the story they were trying to portray it felt ever so cheap, but that’s just me.
Others out there seemed to really enjoy Flight of the Sky Lion and I’m sure no matter what it’ll always be a hit with the kids!
