Loki’s Bar Blackpool Pleasure Beach Review

Loki's Bar Blackpool Pleasure Beach Review

Welcome to Loki’s Bar at Blackpool Pleasure Beach where rustic Ski resort decor meets Viking-style food for one hell of an indoor experience at Pleasure Beach.

As Valhalla is now slowly reawakening from its refurbishment slumber Loki’s Bar has officially reopened and what a space it is.

I never got to experience Loki’s Bar, so this is a new experience for me. Lovely wooden decor, furry chair backs and even a Viking ship as a bar are just a few highlights of this cosy space.

Loki's Bar Pleasure Beach

On a cold windy day at Pleasure Beach, many took refuge in this reopened bar and whilst cosy it was still a little chilly in here. They definitely need some heating in there.

There’s a beautiful centrepiece that would be perfect for a vertical fireplace or similar (like the ones inside The Velvet Coaster in Blackpool).

Loki's Bar Food

Serving half and full-sized rotisserie chickens you can have this with vegetables, potatoes, gravy, stuffing and more. Priced at £11.95 for a whole chicken with potatoes/fries and £7.95 for a half chicken with potatoes/fries.

Whilst a skillet of vegetables is a little pricey in addition to the coleslaw I thought the prices for both full and half-sized chickens were reasonable. This is a theme park after all and it tasted as good as some pub chicken dinners I’ve had.

Loki's Ski Bar

Beer was also reasonably priced at just under £5 a pint which is good.

A wonderfully themed space with a simple yet effective food offering. A newly refurbished ride and a new bar to relax in, what more could you want?

Feel like a Viking and escape the windy wet British weather in this lovely little hub next to the recently reopened Valhalla ride.
