Merlin Entertainments have today released information on their first entry-level tier membership The Discovery Pass. Find out what it includes below!
In a complete rehaul of their passes for the 2021 season, Merlin has today released the Discovery Pass, a limited edition pass that unlocks over 30 of the UK’s top attractions.
With such attractions as Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Alton Towers, SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND Windsor just to name a few this pass looks like an absolute bargain.
Priced at just £69 the Discovery Pass is a weekday only pass that is perfect for shift workers, self-employed, carers, and more.
Weekends and term time will not be included but that’s still a good choice of 180 days to gain entry to all of the Merlin Entertainment attractions you desire.

To purchase the limited edition pass simply head on over to the Merlin website and pay the one-off fee.
Offer ends December 18th!
With the price of the pass being low already there will not be an option for installments with this particular pass.
Only a small number of these passes will be available so the passes are working off a first-come, first-served basis so you better hurry!
To keep the cost of the passes low there will be no discounts on food or merchandise within any of the attractions.
This is a bare-bones pass and it looks to be an absolute bargain!
If you’re a disabled pass holder the Discovery Pass will also allow for a complimentary carers pass that is transferrable between carers.
More information on that can be found on the website.
With two more tiers still to be announced by Merlin it’ll be interesting to see what prices/priveledges the other two passes offer.
I imagine the next step up will be a pass that includes term time and weekends and a top tier pass that will include all of the previous with additional discounts/event opportunities.
