News reported today stated that Merlin Entertainments Accessibility Projects are set to receive a £500,000 investment which will fund 21 projects across eight countries to invest more in the coming years.

The new projects will include new facilities and upgrades to existing amenities helping to transform the attraction experience for guests with disabilities.
Some of the notable projects include a new sensory room opening at SEA LIFE Sydney which will provide a soothing quiet retreat for guests, especially those with neurodiverse conditions.
Upgraded toilets featuring an adult changing area with a lift will also be opening at LEGOLAND® Billund and Madame Tussauds Singapore is set to get installed ramps and raised platforms ensuring wheelchair users can get close to their favourite figures without barriers.
A full-length audio tour designed for visitors with visual impairments has also been created for SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord offering an all-inclusive experience.
Beyond physical upgrades, the company continues to support families in need through its charity, Merlin’s Magic Wand. In 2024, the charity provided over 135,000 Magical Days Out and 230,000 magical experiences worldwide, ensuring the joy of Merlin’s attractions is shared by all.
