The gold pass is currently on sale for £199pp before jumping to £219pp after the sale and the platinum pass is priced at £239pp before jumping up to an eye-watering £299pp after the sale.

So from face value the £40 jump from gold to platinum seems to get you extra fast track vouchers, allows you to bring people with you for cheaper three times and you can book more tickets at any one time for an attraction.
If you’re a diehard fan who wants to be able to go whenever they like then the platinum pass is for you but at face value the gold pass is equally as good with you only missing out on Halloween and Fireworks events in the calender window.
You will also still need to pre-book your tickets online. This is to ensure the parks are managing the capacity and keeping guests safe.
