Museum of Horrors Stoke Offers up a UK’s First Experience

Museum of Horrors Stoke

Museum of Horrors Stoke serves up a UK’s first experience all under one roof and after a sell out October what is in store for this permanent all year round horror attraction?

Opening in October 2023 the Museum of Horrors Stoke offers up two types of experiences for its guests.

There are the daily guided tours which take guests around the museum and showcases the hundreds of artefacts on display including movie and TV props not to mention macabre items and a brand new true crime room added a week after opening.

Guests can get hands on with some iconic props and costumes and even handle true crime case evidence from some of the world’s most notorious crime cases.

There are not many places where you can hold actual evidence used in real life cases or even hold letters or other items belonging to serial killers or written artefacts / drawings done by serial killers themselves.

From Jeffrey Dahmer to Ted Bundy, Nico Claux and John Wayne Gacy there are plenty of iconic true crime cases to browse as you step into the shoes of an investigator and handle this real life evidence.

The buildings consists of various themed rooms and twice a month the museum is overtaken by the creative minds at Central Legion who transform the building into a living breathing nightmare for guests.

Step into various scenes and get up close and personal with these creatures in this ‘waiver-signed’ experience.

This experience is not for the faint hearted and the basement steps up the experience tenfold with many people uttering the safe word given to guests to say if the experience ever gets too much for them.

The Museum of Horrors is something completely different for Stoke On Trent and the UK as a whole and it’s just around the corner from The Haunted Museum which is owned by Craig Longson and Gemma Bootle who also own the Museum of Horrors.

Two horror attractions right around the corner from each other, one exploring the world of the paranormal and one exploring the world of TV, movies and the macabre.

It was earlier this year I had the pleasure of jumping onboard with the Museum of Horrors project and I’m proud to be a part of it.

A brand new room is in store for 2024 and we cannot wait to share it all with you!

It’s something I’m immensely proud of and with every passing month the museum is growing and growing with new items being added all of the time.

Daily guided tours (ages 13+) are priced at £12.50pp and actor days (18+) are priced at £20pp.
