A new ride at Pleasure Beach Resort has been confirmed today by CEO Amanda Thompson as the iconic Grand Prix ride that has operated at the park since 1960 is being closed permanently.
This huge space that the Grand Prix ride takes up at the resort is a prime location for a new attraction.
Whilst no specific details about the new ride have been revealed the pleasure beach confirmed that a new ride addition comes following a strategic ride review and marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the resort.
The park has confirmed that the ride promises to take guest experience to unprecedented heights.
Whilst this sounds more like a very tall flat ride as opposed to a rollercoaster it’ll be interesting to see what the park delivers.
With manufacturers already known to have visited Pleasure Beach during the off-season that has no attractions at the resort already the rumour mill is rife with speculation.
More details about this upcoming ride will be revealed in due course as fans get excited to see a new attraction a resort that needs a good jump start to get back to its glory days.
