Route 83 Diner Tornado Springs Review: Delicious Theme Park Food!

Route 83 Diner Review

I’m taking you on a trip to the American Midwest today as I bring you my Route 83 Diner Tornado Springs review!

Keeping in line with the rest of the detail-orientated expansion that is Tornado Springs the Route 83 diner has a rustic and classic feel with a modern twist of including touch-screen ordering points.

This simple to use interface makes easy work of the ordering process and moments later my 83 Burger was ready.

Route 83 Diner Menu

From Pancake Stacks to Chilli Dogs the menu at Route 83 certainly has a nice full range of Americana themed food on offer.

I think it was a great idea to add a breakfast menu with traditional waffles and some milkshakes thrown in there for good measure.

Key Lime Pie and Pecan Pie are two solid American desserts to choose from but rather than me just waffling on about it (get it?) take a look at the menu below.

Route 83 Food Review

Route 83 Diner 83 Burger

As you can see my burger came well presented, the fries were lovely and warm with a nice little spice to them and my Pepsi was a regular Pepsi, for at least 3 sips until it started to taste like the back of the machine it came out of.

Now upon first glance of that photo, you’d think the bun looked dry but I can assure you it wasn’t.

It was soft and the relish and freshness of the meat gave the bite all the moisture it needed and the bun kept its shape together perfectly not falling apart once during the dining experience.

The burger was fresh including fresh lettuce, pickle and tomato and the relish was lovely.

The meat itself was soft and had a wonderful flavour to it, much better than the usual cardboard tasting offerings you get at most other theme parks.

Quality and taste combined in a very impressive theme park burger.

I usually keep my expectations low when it comes to theme park food but I was pleasantly surprised with just how tasty this meal was and priced at £9.95 I thought this was an average theme park price for a theme park burger meal.

Delicious, theme park and food are words that rarely go together but at Route 83 it’s as natural a phrase as they come!

All in all, I was very impressed with the service and the food but I couldn’t help but feel that not only in Route 83 but across the park the staff members could be in character when boarding you or when serving you to really bring that immersiveness that Tornado Springs brings you full circle.
