In Nottingham lies the Haunted Museum. A building that was once an old cinema back in the 1950’s that is now the home to cursed objects from across the globe.
Whether you’re a skeptic or not there is no denying the sense of unease that the Haunted Museum brings to you as you step through its doors. The anticipation of what’s to come and your over-active imagination conjuring all sorts of otherworldly possibilities. If you’re a fan of the paranormal or the macabre or even if you’re just curious, you’ll have a great time!
Spread over 4 floors you can take the tour where a knowledgable guide will take you around the private exhibits. You’ll see Martha the Doll a cursed doll, corpses and even an infamous Dybbuk Box. A box said to house the spirit of a demon.
Owners Marie and Steve Wesson have dedicated their lives to the paranormal. Much care has gone into the restoration of the building. The museum auditorium also doubles up as a screening room as various horror movies are shown every Thursday evening.
Haunted Museum Nottingham is an attraction that reminds me of a darker Ripley’s Believe it or Not. There’s a great collection of objects on display. A brand new VR experience has also been added at an additional cost and more items are being added all the time!
Tours are priced at £7 per person but the main museum auditorium area is free to view. For more information on this attraction please visit https://www.thehauntedmuseum.co.uk
