Today LEGOLAND Windsor has given us our first look inside LEGO Mythica: World of Mythical Creatures.
Home to the UK’s first-ever flying theatre LEGO Mythica is the most expensive expansion in LEGOLAND Windsor history.

The Flight of the Sky Lion is a Brogent M-Type flying theatre and is equipped with wind, mist and even smells that have been synchronised with the animated film you experience whilst flying.
Families will come face-to-face with the realm’s many characters, including the two-headed Hydra (Duo), Fire and Ice Bird (Crystal Flame) and the Greek mythology inspired Chimera creature.

Also revealed today were the two 13 metre tall children’s drop towers named Fire and Ice Freefall and Hydra’s Challenge a brand new water ride as you steer your own vessel in this thrilling water attraction.

Guests will also be able to create their own creatures and there will be many character meet and greet experiences before settling down for a bite to eat at The Hungry Troll restaurant or the Beastly Bites snack bar.
The current 4D cinema at the park will also feature a LEGO Mythica themed story which will reveal the mystery behind the parallel universe.

Helen Bull, Divisional Director at LEGOLAND Windsor:
“We’re thrilled to give our guests a first look at LEGO MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures and showcase some of the attractions, experiences and models that will be unveiled when we open in May.
We worked in partnership with Kids Industries and spent a year discussing and testing ideas and concepts with seven to 11-year olds and their parents who influenced everything from the final ride experiences, names and characters. It’s amazing to see the journey from that point to now and we’re confident LEGOLAND fans will love LEGO MYTHICA.”
