The Invitation Alton Towers Scarefest announcement was made today as the final addition to Alton Towers Halloween event was revealed in a trailer.
The Lakeside Cemetery invites you to join them for a grave experience that will live with you for eternity. Their friendly funeral director is dying to assist you as you descend into the burial chamber, where you can choose your final resting place. Some caskets have already been filled, but there are others, still empty, waiting for you…
This brand new trailer for the new Scarefest attraction shows a young man walking through a forest wearing headphones as he heads down into a crypt, lies down and gets dragged into the unknown.
Its short, sweet and beautifully shot (nice one Parkspill).
Whilst no details other than the synopsis above have been revealed it certainly leans more towards being a Darkfield attraction similar to that of The Terminal which was announced at Thorpe Park for Fright Nights last week.
The reasons for that are included in the video below but out of the two park experiences the Alton Towers one looks the more involved in terms of having more than just an audio experience.
It feels as though the Alton Towers experience will involve actors or a walkthrough/maze type experience before you put on your headphones whilst The Terminal at Thorpe Park looks more isolated and more scare-focused praying on just you the individual.
After all this, I could be completely wrong but check out The Invitation Alton Towers Scarefest speculation video below and let me know what you think The Invitation at Alton Towers will be.
