Sally Dark Rides are behind a brand new SpongeBob Dark Ride as SpongeBob’s Crazy Carnival ride was exclusively revealed today at IAAPA in Orlando, Florida.
The first dark ride to represent the IP is on its way to Las Vegas as Circus Circus will be taking guests to the pineapple under the sea in a brand new special effects laden ride experience.
Board your very own SpongeBob themed train as visitors visit the seafloor with vibrant sets, animatronics and projections.
A Mr.Krabs animatronic was also revealed at IAAPA today and the detail is absolutely wonderful!
The SpongeBob dark ride vehicles can seat up to 5 people and guests will be invited to try their luck at a variety of carnival games hosted by Mr.Krabs whilst Plankton is secretly hatching an evil plan to steal the infamous ‘Krabby Patty’ burger recipe formula.
The ride is a £4.7m investment that will debut at Circus Circus’s Adventuredome indoor theme park this winter.
Spongebob’s Crazy Carnival will mark the first dark ride at Circus Circus’s Adventuredome and is a nice addition to add as the park celebrates its 30th anniversary having opened to the public back in 1993.
The ride will open in Q1 of 2024.
