Theme Park Fan The Musical – All You Need To Know

Theme Park Fan The Musical

A huge lockdown collaboration is mere hours away as Theme Park Fan The Musical will be released on Saturday as enthusiasts and more are eager to see this 2021 production.

Jam packed full of enthusiasts and with its own custom scent to match Theme Park Fan The Musical is certainly a refreshing change of pace from our current lockdown theme park related content.

Telling the story of Jamie who wants to break into the theme park enthusiast community we follow in his footsteps on the opening day of his favourite UK theme park.

Many famous faces across the UK theme park community are involved in this project and it’s not just community faces involved, oh no!

The one and only Neil Patrick Harris has lent some star power to the production with a small cameo to the project which blew the production team away.

Coaster developer and Alton Towers legend John Wardley also has a cameo in this delightful labour of love.

With 13 original songs and a duration of 80 minutes there’s certainly enough for theme park and musical fans alike to sink their teeth into as we watch Jamie’s adventure unfold.

Today I had the honour of speaking to Keiron Quinn and creator Nick Hutson.

Kieron is the mastermind behind creating virtual sets for the production.

Being a lockdown project virtual sets were created to illustrate the narrative that is provided by the audio and the musical scores.

It’s almost picture-book in its design but has a wonderful charm to it that’s hard to ignore.

I was given a 6-minute teaser of the musical and was blown away by the vivid detail of the sets but with music that not only set the scene but painted the mood of Jamie in such a short space of time.

This blissful innocence and that childlike excitement we all get when we’re allowed back into our favourite theme park after closed season.

You can check out my interview with Keiron below:

Creator, writer and musical producer Nick Hutson is the mastermind behind the project and it was such a pleasure to speak to him not only about the musical but how Neil Patrick Harris became involved and also the mental health charity CALM that the musical has been raising funds for.

The fundraising page smashed its funding goal and proceeds from the sale of the Theme Park the Musical scent made by Aromaprime will also go towards this wonderful cause.

Officially we won’t be releasing the interview until 6pm GMT time but for those lucky few who have stumbled across this page then you can check it out nice and early via the link below:
