Tommy Fury Visits Journey to Hell at Pleasure Beach Resort

Tommy Fury paid a trip to Blackpool last night as he braved Journey to Hell at Pleasure Beach Resort consisting of various live-action scare zones, mazes and rides.

More than 70 actors and performers will have been doing their best to terrify Fury and his friends as they tried out scare zones including Twisted Tunnels, Cabinet of Curiosities, Down the Rabbit Hole, and Ghost Train: Vault of Shadows.   And despite his public break up with girlfriend Molly Mae, Tommy seemed in high spirits as he enjoyed the Pleasure Beach’s rides in total darkness at the event.

Tommy was rumoured to be appearing in  I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! but pulled out of talks to appear on the show stating that he will be focusing on his next boxing match (rumoured to be a rematch with KSI).

Pleasure Beach Resort is a firm favourite with the Fury family, with Tommy’s brother Tyson visiting with Paris and their children earlier in the year.   The park has been given a Halloween makeover which includes more than 500 pumpkins, and 30 scarecrows, zombies and corpses, which have all been made in-house by Pleasure Beach Studios.

As well as the live action scare zones and rides, Journey to Hell features a live band and DJ, fire breathers, rollerskaters, performances from the former cast of Circus of Horrors, and a Witches Parade.   More than 70 costumes have been hand-made for Journey to Hell and are the culmination of months of hard work by talented seamstresses in Pleasure Beach’s wardrobe department.

There has been a vast change in the event this year in terms of its scare zones and outdoor spaces which are now littered with actors along with a customary introduction to the event reminiscent of Halloween Horror Nights which takes place at Universal Studios.

Thrillseekers are invited to challenge their worst fears this October and come face to face with the gruesome undead, sinister clowns, ghostly apparitions and more. New for 2024, guests can experience nine terrifying rides engulfed in darkness.

The north of the park will be transformed into haunted ride areas with roaming actors, outrageous live entertainment, and ghoulish-themed dining and cocktails.   Journey to Hell is an exclusive after-hours event held at Pleasure Beach Resort once the park closes.

Entry to Journey to Hell is not included with a standard Pleasure Beach eTicket and tickets must be purchased separately and if Journey to Hell is good enough for Tommy Fury, it’s good enough for me!

Journey to Hell is reserved for guests aged 10 years or older, and guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. There must be one adult present for every six guests aged under 16. For example, if your party includes seven under 16s then there must be two adults present.

The event runs until 31st October, 7pm until 10pm.
