We were kindly invited to Twig or Treat at BeWILDerwood Cheshire as we explored this lovely little light walkthrough that’s fitting for all the family. Despite free tickets, we were invited to give our honest reviews as is the case with all invited / gifted content on this site.
As three grown adults I was a little hesitant when asked to visit this kids-targeted attraction for Halloween but after seeing some of the trail photos on their social media I thought it would be worth a visit as it looked truly mesmerising.

Upon arrival, you are led into the woods via a beautifully themed and enchanted portal as your job is to greet creatures along your journey by simply shouting “Twig or Treat” and out of their little houses they greet you and surprise you with some weird and wonderful interactions.
What I enjoyed about the walkthrough was the effort they had put in to truly create a magical fantasy tale experience. The music beautifully led you into the forest and the lighting packages were varied and immersive.
The lovely little huts along the way added to the magic with each hut having its own unique effect during your meet and greet with these magical characters.

For three adults to enjoy it from start to finish says all you need to know, it really is great for young and big kids alike.
There was a little 10-minute show in the woods that told the backstory of the trail you were about to go on and for me, this was the only part of the experience that made me feel very, very old. But after that, it was a fun and spooky little walkthrough that will have your Instagram feed stocked up in no time.
Photo-ops aplenty Twig or Treat at BeWILDerwood is priced at £14.50 for adults and whilst our tickets were complimentary we have no issues with saying that £14.50 for the experience we got is quite the bargain.
There’s a hub halfway around the walk that serves drinks and food along with a seating area to sit down and relax before you continue your journey but all snacks and drinks were reasonably priced.
A hot chocolate was less than £3 and sandwiches were less than £4 with hot food varying from £4 for a few items to £10 for a MAMMOTH burger.
We walked around the experience for a good hour or more and you could easily take your time to take it all in, there was no rushing at any point it was very laid back and relaxed and the hub allowed crowds to disperse quite nicely throughout.
I want to give a big thank you to BeWILDerwood for inviting us down to experience this immersive and wonderful walkthrough experience that is officially open to the public this evening (October 12th).
I highly recommend it as it truly has captured the magic of BeWILDerwood and is an enchanting experience that the children (and adults) will adore. I could also see this making one incredible Christmas event with a few change-ups and set dressing as they have the core product nailed down and I hope it’s a big success for them.
