A brand new 1000 square metre expansion is coming to Bristol’s Wake the Tiger this February as for the first time this 12-month-long project opens to the public as guests get to explore the OUTERverse.
The popular Bristol-based ‘amazement park’ features 15 new areas as guests will dive into new adventures and explore the expansion of Meredia.
Meredia is the city that guests explore within the Wake the Tiger expansion, a city far in the future which has ecological issues that plague our own world. Guests navigate through these multiple dimensions beyond imagination and exploration is the theme of the day with each room full of surprises and unique spaces to relax, explore or indulge in.
The new OUTERverse space will consist of a futuristic airport lounge called the Astral Tour Lounge which will feature real authentic airplane theming before you begin your voyage to Aetheria, a new land created as part of the expansion.

Visitors are invited to relax and explore multiple layers appealing to their curiosity and creativity before bracing themselves for a slide back down to Earth 2.0, a literal slide that’s 7 metres high!
Not just one but TWO slides have been announced as part of the new expansion!
Wake the Tiger managing director, Graham MacVoy spoke to Bristol 247 and said:
“We’re so proud of what we have achieved over the past 18 months, and this expansion is a natural progression for us here at Wake the Tiger.
When you have so much creativity and talent all working together under one roof, you have to focus that energy somewhere.
We wanted to combine connection, memories and spirituality into a journey that will blow people’s minds, where every moment promises breath-taking visuals and awe-inspiring concepts beyond imagination.
Our new ‘Astral Tours’ offer a unique opportunity to go on a trip into the unknown to foster a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of life.
Developing this second stage has been a wonderful process. Words can’t describe what to expect, so Bristol is just going to have to come and see it for themselves!”
This beautiful expansion will open February 2nd and tickets can be purchased from the Wake the Tiger website ahead of its grand opening.
