Warwicks Funfair Fenton Review: Cage Fighter Saves the Day

Warwicks Funfair Fenton

Tonight we headed down to the opening of Warwicks Funfair Fenton to check out the ride offering at this local attraction.

Based in Mount Pleasant Park in Fenton is Warwicks Funfair along with an assortment of rides for all ages.

Upon first glance, this was a much smaller affair than anticipated and the rides on offer were certainly tailored to a younger market.

Such highlights as a small children’s swinging ship, inflatable children’s slides and good old fashioned dodgems.

The dodgems were much quicker than I anticipated though so they’re definitely an experience for all ages.

More adult / family rides included Waltzers and a Sizzler with a Miami ride arriving on Friday (August 20th, 2021).

Amongst a plethora of children/family rides is one mammoth that stood head and shoulders above the rest for me personally.

The Cage Fighter funfair ride.

This insane contraption will leave your knees wobbling as though you’ve just tried on heels for the first time.

The ride spins you so quick that gravity leaves you stuck to the wall and with nothing but a chain in front of you to keep you in gravity does all the work as you hit high velocity.

Cage Fighter is a ride that lets you experience the same forces that a fighter pilot experiences in a high g force dive and let me tell you, it’s insane.

Your head feels heavy and your cheeks are morphing through the g force but the metal cage weirdly becomes comfy and the whole ride experience is absolutely breathtaking, literally.

It was so strange seeing such an intense ride amongst a host of children’s rides but I certainly wasn’t complaining, this one ride that cost £2 to ride saved the entire day.

The most expensive ride that I saw at the park was the dodgems charged at £2.50.

There is also a food van on site.

Certainly, a nice little fair to visit if you’re passing by but certainly not one to go out of your way to travel to unless you want to ride Cage Fighter as that ride is worth the visit alone.

It’s an absolutely insane ride that certainly spun this fair up a few notches in quality and appeal.
