It was touch a go for a moment there but it has been confirmed that Winter Wonderland is returning to Stoke for the 2019 season. This yearly funfair has all the rides and attractions you could ever want from a funfair with a somewhat Christmassy theme thrown in there too.
My first trip to Winter Wonderland Stoke last year was mixed indeed. An incredible Bavarian bar made up for the loud club music blaring out across the park ruining the Christmas mood. The rides were absolutely astounding and the Sky Swing had me fearing for my life but it’s all part of the fun!
I was glad to read that the Bavarian bar is back for this year’s festivities, it was such a comfy, warm atmosphere and with mulled wine, on the go, the Xmas spirit was in full flow. Last year I conquered my fear of riding the Sky Swing, this year it’s time to conquer my fear of Airmaxx, the absolutely insane spinning ride at the park. I’m not looking forward to that whatsoever. The attractions seem to be identical to last years according to the site, I do hope they add a few more personally. Bigger and better should be the aim!

- An undercover real ice-rink allowing families to skate whatever the weather;

- 60m sky swing attraction;
- The adrenalin-busting No Limit ride;
- The Airmaxx ride which lights up the sky for miles around;
- A Santa’s Grotto;
- A Bavarian style bar;
- Swing Grill offering festive eats and treats in traditional wooden chalets;
- Dodgems;
- Waltzer;
- Sizzler ride;
- Two children’s rollercoasters;
- A Santa’s train which takes children on a journey around a huge Christmas tree;
- New Year fireworks
