As Blackpool Pleasure Beach closes its gates until the 2020 season work is underway on the Big One retrack.
Work has begun on replacing section of the Big One’s track as part of the annual maintenance programme. The ride is certainly showing its age in some places. Work is undergoing on retracking the ride on its return leg. Work will also be taking place next winter as per on-going maintenance schedules.
Hopefully it’s the drop next winter that they will be working on, that section is very rough indeed! Either-way thanks to the guys at Pleasure Beach Experience we get to have a look at some sections of track being removed.
