Work on Zip World Tower is underway with a Zip World Tower Rollercoaster offering a Europe and potential world’s first experience on the way.
A 1km coaster kart will see two riders side by side journeying through the tower site as they dip and weave around the stunning views of the Rhigos mountain range.
You will get two laps of the track with every ticket and the opening date is currently penned for March 2021.
The Zip World tower rollercoaster is currently being tested in Germany (as shown in the photos) and will be flying over to Wales in no time!

The karts introduce the latest generation of driving fun from German manufacturers Wiegand.
Complete with an acceleration pedal that activates a linear induction motor should you want that extra speed the CoasterKart will be a superb addition to the ever-expanding ZipWorld portfolio.
It is rumoured that the Zip World Tower course track will be over 1KM in length but the layout has yet to be confirmed.
Wiegand offers roads, slopes, and paths with over and underpasses possible.
Jumps and waves can also be included in the track layout along with a photo opportunity and headlights on the front and rear of the karts for low-light experiences.
The karts are low maintenance and are not affected by weather conditions which are ideal for that gloriously unpredictable welsh weather.

The plans for the Zip World Tower site include three zip wire courses, internal access roads and pedestrian routes, cabins, and the use of land for car parking.
The zip lines will give spectacular views of the surroundings as you fly over Llyn Fawr.
A first look at the construction of the Zip World Tower site can be found here.
There’s also the zip line in Liverpool planned in the months or years to come!
You can read about that here.
We experienced the Fforest Coaster this year for the first time at Zipworld as you ascend to the top of a forest landscape and absolutely fly down it.
If the coaster has the unrelenting speed that the Fforest Coaster does we’re going to be in for one hell of a treat!
There is so much to look forward to in 2021!
Check out the test footage video of the coasterkart from the test track in Germany as you can get a glimpse of what is in store for Zip World Tower in 2021.
Update: 21/03/2021

Brand new images of construction have been released by Zipworld as the track work is coming along nicely as we see various levels and a wonderful little tunnel to fly through!
