The Spinning Racer at Fantasy Island First 2021 Ride Announced

The Spinning Coaster Fantasy Island

The Skegness based theme park today announced the arrival of The Spinning Racer at Fantasy Island.

Fantasy Island has announced the arrival of The Spinning Racer a Maurer spinning coaster that reaches speeds of 70km/h and was purchased by The Mellors Group back in 2020.

The ride has been on the travelling circuit for quite some time now so it’s great to see it get a more permanent home at the park.

Reaching a height of 15.5m (50.8ft) it’s great to see a new coaster added at the park.

Turbulence will also be a welcome sight for thrill-seekers when the park reopens this year as it was a much-anticipated ride for the 2020 season.

Turbulence will be familiar to many as it was once at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

The ride operated at the Blackpool theme park from 2004-2011 before going to Skyline Park in Germany and being renamed as Sky Jet.

The attraction left the German-based park in 2019 and made its way over to Fantasy Island.

Adrenaline junkies have a lot to look forward to in 2021 at Fantasy Island and from how they’ve been curiously continuing the mystery even after the coaster announcement something tells me they’re certainly nowhere near finished yet.
