We take a look at all of the rides set to open in Tornado Springs at Paultons Park for the 2021 season.
Featuring 8 brand new rides and experiences Paultons Park has certainly been busy with this Americana themed expansion to the park.
Themed around a midwest desert resort town in the American heyday of the 1950’s Tornado Springs will provide a vacation like no other.
This new themed area of the park is targeted at a mix of adults and children.
With such rides as Trekking Tractors providing a wonderful children’s experience through an American rustic farm area and then we have the thrill-seeking Cyclonator Gyro Swing that will get anyone’s adrenaline pumping!
About Tornado Springs
Located in the mid-west Tornado Springs has remained a hidden jewel since the settlement was established in the early 1800s by adventurers in search of their fortune.
Tornado Springs is located on the famous Route 83 allowing the town to thrive by offering fuel, accommodation and home-grown food to weary travellers passing through.
Many generations of families have lived in the springs and have learned not only to cope with the frequent storms and twisters that hit but to actually harness the power of the elements and use them to their advantage.
Crops are gathered with the incredible swinging ‘Cyclonator’ and electricity is generated at Windmill Towers and by the ingenious Tornado Collectors that also acts as a transport system on Storm Chaser!
These incredible creations, along with the welcoming local community and spectacular vistas have allowed Tornado Springs to be the destination of choice for adventurous travellers.
After several large and destructive storms struck the town it will once again be fully open for tourist visits from the 12th April 2021 offering visitors a memorable vacation that is sure to leave you in a spin!

Storm Chaser
The first of its kind in the UK as this Mack spinning coaster is set to spin us all into a frenzy April 12th.
Come on Storm Chasers! Take an exhilarating ride on the spinning and swirling Storm Chaser and try to capture the perfect storm on this awesome family spinning roller coaster
Cyclonator
This Zamperla frisbee ride is a non-inverting ride but already looks incredibly intense!
Only for real thrill-seekers, the mighty Cyclonator spins and swings you to a height of 25 metres!
Experience Cyclonator’s awesome power as it harvests the crops for the residents of Tornado Springs.
No doubt, this gyro swing pendulum ride will leave you in a spin!
Al’s Auto Academy
This Garmendale manufactured go-kart driving school is heavily themed and definitely brings some Radiator Springs style magic to the UK.
Take the wheel and head out on to Route 83 at the legendary Al’s Auto Academy!

Windmill Towers
These Zierer manufactured drop towers are certainly your entry-level drop towers. Perfect for children!
Which tower will you choose?
The Water and Windmill towers at Tornado Springs stand proud over the town providing power generation out in the crooked countryside.
These two super fun drop towers will make riders squeal with delight as they bounce them up, down and up again!
Buffalo Falls
Formerly known as the Wave Runner these Metallbau Emmeln created slides have been a little well kept secret so far with no POV footage or close-up shots released thus far.
Tame the wild river and race dinghies down the breath-taking white waters of the legendary Buffalo Falls.
Take in the view across Tornado Springs before feeling the rush of riding down the falls on this magnificent water raft ride.
Trekking Tractors
Another Metallbau Emmeln creation as this well-themed track ride takes you on a farm fun-filled tour.
Stop by Farmer Flo’s and enjoy a leisurely trip on her cute little old tractors around the farm.
There are lots to see on your travels; all manner of delicious fruit and veg and keep an eye for the cheeky and mischievous groundhogs who have taken up residence!
Rio-Grande Train Ride
Closed for 2019 and redesigned for the 2021 Tornado Springs reopening this Severn Lamb train ride will give you some spectacular views through Tornado Springs.
Choo, choo!
All aboard! No trip to Paultons would be complete without a ride of the famous Rio Grande Railway!
Fully refurbished for 2020 and now with onboard audio, the classic Rio Grande loco will take passengers on a delightful journey through the heart of Tornado Springs, through the woods and around Little Africa.
