Walibi Belgium RMC Set to Open in 2026

Festival World Walibi Belgium

Walibi Belgium are set to get a RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) roller coaster at the park as its old Loup-Garou wooden roller coaster will be converted into what looks to be an insane hybrid coaster.

Reaching 157.5 feet and with a track length of 4039ft the brand new ride will hit a max speed of 66mph and will feature a 47-meter drop with an 89-degree incline along with three other unique features set to be announced.

Loup-Garou has been a bone shaker for far too long and it’s great to see the park taking the initiative in getting this restoration and improvement underway. The wooden Vekoma coaster opened in April, 2001 and will remain open for the rest of Walibi Belgium’s 2026 season.

2028 is the year the park has given for an opening date as part of a new land named Festival World.

This new land will be inspired by New Orleans and the coaster will mark phase one of the project with phase two of Festival World set to include several re-themed attractions along with new food outlets, a new themed restaurant, new family drop towers and a water playground.
