The legends that are Parks, Scares and Glitter have found the Chessington World of Jumanji ride names as a trademark application for the three new rides at Chessington World of Adventures’ was discovered.
This hasn’t officially been confirmed by the park as of yet but the general consensus is that the new wing coaster will be named Mandrill Mayhem…
I could go into so much regarding the name chosen for the brand-new B&M Wing Coaster so I’ll keep it short and sweet.
The track is green (like some Mamba snakes are), it coils around the Jaguar Shrine (in true snake fashion) and consists of a windy serpentine-style track, the snakes are featured on the ascent up to the Jaguar Shrine in the first movie (much like the wraparound guests will take onboard the ride) and they called it MANDRILL MAYHEM?!?!
The Mandrills do not appear until the sequel (The Next Level) and don’t relate to the giant Jaguar Shrine that the ride wraps around. The Jaguar Shrine features heavily in the first movie and has absolutely nothing to do with the Mandrills who appear in the sequel in a rope bridge scene.
Not a great choice of ride name for me here personally. If the Jaguar shrine was just a centre point of the land they could call it whatever they want but the interaction with this main focal piece is a confusing choice indeed.
Mandrill Mayhem
With his arms stretched out like that in the logo imagery it certainly does suggest that we will be carried by the Mandrill.
Let’s just say this will be the name of the new Wing Coaster (doh!) the coaster is manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard and will wrap around the legendary Jaguar Shrine.
Guests will be carried on both sides of the rails in the arms of a Mandrill through the launches and around the shrine in an experience THAT NEVER HAPPENED AS THEY’RE IN TWO SEPERATE GOD DAMN FILMS!!!

Ostrich Stampede
Next is Ostrich Stampede. Let’s be honest, neither of these names in this list stands out to you as the name of any major rides. They all sound like funfair stall-type games to me.
This attraction will throw guests around on a Super Jumper ride as they bounce through the air in this Ostrich themed stampede.
Mamba Strike
Oh, they’ve done you dirty Mamba Strike, they’ve done you dirty!
Arguably the best name out of the ones listed here and the one best suited to a winged coaster that has a jaguar shrine tied to snakes featured in the first movie, but no.
Mamba Strike looks to be the SBF Visa ride that will send guests soaring into the sky.

I found out that the snake theming is already in place for this flat ride so it’s fate looks all but sealed.

As unforgivable as that is (as a movie fan and a theme park fan) we must move on from this betrayal as the Chessington World of Jumanji ride names are there in black and white (and a bit of colour too, let’s be honest).
